Resting Animals is the result of a recent Front Group research project on the relationship between humans and figurative objects. The two designers asked randomly selected people what were the most important and emotional objects in their lives. Most of them talked about animal figures that, in their eyes, had a personality of their own, special characteristics or a shared history. In previous works, Front had already focused on the systematic observation of the way some animals sleep or hibernate. In Resting Animals, this fascination takes the form of a group of animals sleeping in postures that exude a serene tranquility. The largest is a bear lined with knitted fabric that can be used, fo

r example, as a stool, ottoman or backrest. The smaller designs depict a cat and two ceramic birds of different sizes. Resting Animals not only introduce a breath of nature into the home; their tranquil presence goes beyond the visual and conveys a sense of contentment and companionship. Resting Birds are ornamental ceramic figurines in two different sizes. Their quiet presence goes beyond the purely decorative and conveys a deep sense of contentment. Material:
