Hella Jongerius is a Dutch designer recognized for her experimental approach and her ability to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Born in 1963, she studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and began her career at the Droog design studio in Amsterdam. In 2000, she founded her own studio, Jongeriuslab, where she has created a wide range of products, from textiles and furniture to ceramics and glass.
