The Soft Modular Sofa is Jasper Morrison's current interpretation of what has become a "modern classic": a low, elongated modular sofa with a decidedly horizontal character. hions of the Soft Modular Sofa invite the user to sit back and relax. The high quality of its internal structure, composed of several layers of foam and springs in the central part, offers extraordinary comfort and ensures that the cushions recover their original shape after use. On the one hand, the black base frame is part of the functional design, which allows the modules to be connected in a practical and stable way. On the other, being a platform with rounded corners, it recalls the sensual elegance of art deco. Thanks to its modular design (with side, center and corner elements, plus a chaise longue) the size and shape of the Soft Modular Sofa can be adapted to meet a wide variety of requirements. And with optional elements such as the footrest and additional cushions, as well as a wide selection of leather and fabric covers in various colours, the specific configuration can be further customised. Material:
- Seat: steel frame, wooden frame with steel springs, polyurethane foam structure and viscoelastic layer.
- Seat height: 380 mm (270 mm with applied load; measured in accordance with EN 1335-1).
- Armrests and backrest: wooden frame with polyurethane foam structure and padded chamber (filled with polyurethane foam swabs and polyester fibres).
- Upholstery: removable.

Jasper Morrison is a London-born British industrial designer known for his minimalist and functional designs, some of which have become icons of contemporary design. Morrison studied design at Kingston Polytechnic in London and the Royal College of Art. After graduating, he worked as a freelance designer for design firms in Europe and Japan, before establishing his own design studio in London in 1986. Morrison's designs are renowned for their simplicity, functionality and timeless elegance. He has worked on a wide range of products, from furniture to lighting, appliances and table and kitchen products. His clients include well-known brands such as Vitra, HAY, Flos, Samsung, Alessi, Muji and Cappellini. Morrison has won several international design awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in Italy, the Red Dot Award in Germany and the Design Plus Award in Frankfurt. His designs are in the permanent collection of major museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Pompidou Center in Paris.
