In the early 1950s, Jean Prouvé developed the EM Table for the "Maison-Tropique" project. The table takes care of its design down to the last detail, following the typical Prouvé aesthetic of necessity. Imaging force and static connections in a way that is otherwise only offered in engineering construction. The EM table is now of even higher quality thanks to its new oiled solid wood tops. The solid wood tops in oak or walnut give the table an exclusive note and offer a very pleasant atmosphere. The height of the base is adjusted to current needs and the color concept has been revised. The EM Table can ideally be combined with chairs from Prouvé. Material:
- Veneer board: thickness

39 mm; natural or stained oak (Europe), protective varnished with natural wood effect.
- Solid wood top: 34 mm thick; natural oak with oil finish, dark oak stained with a protective natural varnish or American walnut treated with oil.
- Base: Formed sheet steel and tubular steel, powder coated (fine texture). Color options to match the Standard SP chair.
