Charles and Ray Eames' Plastic Chairs RE were the first plastic chairs developed for industrial production. Their organically shaped seat shells can be combined with different bases and, today, Vitra manufactures them from recycled plastic. Optionally, they can also be ordered with seat cushion or fully upholstered. With the Eames Plastic Stools RE, the four-legged base in chrome or black with footrest is available in two heights: medium for standard tops and high for high tables. The shells of Vitra's Eames Plastic Chairs are made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
