Fritz Haller was an Swiss architect and designer born in 1924. He is known for his work in the furniture design and for being the creator of the USM Haller modular system, which has become an icon of modern design.
Haller studied architecture at the Federal Polytechnic School of Zurich and worked on several architecture projects before devoting himself to furniture design.In 1961, he was hired by the Swiss company USM to design a modular storage system that could adapt to the needs of any space.The result was the USM Haller system, which has become an icon of modern design used in offices, homes and public spaces around the world.
