Arik Levy

Born in Tel Aviv in 1963, Arik Levy is an internationally renowned artist and industrial designer. His multidisciplinary approach ranges from art to photography, from installations to artistic video production. After graduating with honors from the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1991, Levy consolidated his ideas in Japan, where he produced products and pieces for exhibitions. Subsequently, he brought his art to contemporary dance and opera by creating stage sets for modern ballet performances at the Grand Theatre in Geneva, for the Netherlands Dance Theatre, the Finnish National Ballet and the BatSheva Dance Centre in Israel. Recognized for his sculptures and the "Rock" series, his work is in public and private collections around the world. As an industrial designer, Levy has collaborated with prestigious brands and has created innovative furniture and accessories and also designed lighting pieces for Vibia. Residing and working in Paris, Levy continues to expand his artistic reach and influence. Through his studio, founded in 1997, he collaborates with a team of designers on projects ranging from brand identity to interior design. Recognized as a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres of the French Republic, Arik Levy remains a leading figure in the world of contemporary art and design and his work can be seen in prestigious galleries and museums around the world.
