Details

Design of great simplicity of lines. Despite its generous dimensions, the silhouette of the Chaise Longue Grand Sofa is very elegant. The slender fabric upholstered frame has a double angle that forms a cascade between the seat, backrest and back tray. The structure is supported at two points under the ends of the seating surface and behind the backrest by a bridge-shaped aluminum frame, giving the impression that the piece floats above the floor. The seating elements are open at the sides, emphasizing their horizontal sense. Material:
- Legs: cast aluminum, bright or powder-coated.
- Frame: metal frame with molded polyurethane foam.
- Seat cushions: polyurethane foam core

and air chamber (filled with a mixture of feathers, down and fiber balls). Upholstery:
- Corsaro: 5% Polyamide, 10% Cotton, 46% Polyacrylic, 5% Linen, 20% Wool, 4% Polyester. Cushions not included. They must be ordered separately. For more compositions please contact us.

Italy 1950

Antonio Citterio, one of the most influential architects and designers of the contemporary scene. He founded his own studio in 1972 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. Between 1987 and 1996 he collaborated with Terry Dawn on the design of several buildings in Europe and Japan. And in 2000, together with Patricia Viel, he founded a multidisciplinary architecture, interior design and graphic design studio, working internationally. Renamed "Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel", the studio remains a reference in the world of design and architecture. Known for his innovative sofa designs, Antonio Citterio has made his mark in industrial design, collaborating with leading companies such as B&B Italia, Flos, Hermès, Iittala, Kartell and Vitra, among others. And he has been the recipient of several awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1987 and 1995, as well as the title of "Royal Designer for Industry" awarded by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in London in 2008.
