Abalon takes its name from the shell of a sea snail and forms its own architecture of seating circles: with its organic curves, the sofa evokes a circle to which people are drawn. The Abalon Sofa and the Abalon Platform can be complemented with the Abalon Table from the same product family. Material:
- MDF (medium density fiberboard) table top with textured powder-coated finish or real oak veneer; table thickness: 25 mm with beveled edge at 15° angle.
- Base: non-rotating four-spoke die-cast aluminum powder-coated aluminum base, powder-coated steel pedestal.
- Plastic glides for soft floors or felt glides for hard floors (both included).

French brothers and designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have gained international recognition for their work in industrial and furniture design, collaborating with some of the world's leading design brands: Vitra, HAY, Magis, Alessi and Flos, among others.
